Iolaus

Iolaus met up with Gabrielle in the Amazon village. Caught under the spell of Discord, he and hercules make fools of themselves over the fair Alkai. Once released, he and Gabrielle reignite their passions and run off to get married. unfortunately Callisto shows up and steals Gabrielle away. Rushing bakc to the Amazon village to get Xena, for he knows she will eb able to find Callisto, They all set out to rescue his wife. After many trials, and dying twice (don't ask) he sets out for Rome. Xena has been made Emporess and he has a few bones to pick with her. namely the conscription of his son into the legions. Eventually they learn Xena is playing the war monger until she can root out the Senators who wish her dead. Yes I did say son.

See, long ago his teenage love, Lillith, was taken away before he knew she was pregnant for not only a son, Ioannis, but a daughter, Allassandra. He never knew about his children, now teenagers until he met Ioannis in the forests. Havin gbeen raised by Ares and Discord, Ioalus has had quite a time turning his son to the path of goodness. He didn't find out baout his daughter until he got to Rome. There she was in the clutches of a cruel Roman named Crassius. Eventually he had to kill Crassius for he was too wicked to let live another day. Had he left his little girl alone, Iolaus would have let him live. Still the turmoil in his life continues as his best friend falls in love with his daughter. This was nearly the end of the friendship between Iooaus and Hercules. But eventually they made him realize their love was real.

About this time, all love was removed form the world. The fact that Gabrielle was carryin ghis child did not matter. He nad Hercules run off to the war against the Geats. And along the way, Love returned to the world. Hercules and Iolaus desert the army, rush back to Rome, and patch things up with the girls. Currrenlty he is under a spell of Strife's which is aging him.

And the hits just keep coming. Finding out his daughter had been arrested for the murder of Crassius, he and Hercules go to the cells, at Gabrielle's request, to have Allassandra brought to the palace until her trial date. There he tells GAbrielle that it was he who killed the abusive Crassius. Allassandra noticing something amiss with her father, used her empathic abilities to probe her father's health. A jolt of energy repells her. Some spell of aging has been placed upon IOlaus. Adjourning for the day, IOlaus and Gabrielle return to their chambers.
